Meat Chickens

Raised on fresh pasture, with love.

Our final batch of meat chicks will be arriving in August, and will be ready for the freezer in September!

They spend the first few weeks in the brooder, where they have access to heat as they grow out their feathers. Once they are better able to regulate their temperature, they move into the mobile chicken tractors and are able to enjoy fresh grass and bugs daily.

Our meat birds have had a processed weight of 5-8 lbs and we charge $5 per pound for a whole frozen chicken.

Are raised on pasure

As soon as we can safely do so, we move the birds to the grass. We use mobile chicken tractors to help protect them from predators and to help keep the other birds from eating all their high protein food.

Eat local Non-GMO feed

We get our feed from local suppliers and only give high quality, non-GMO feed to our critters.

Get daily snuggles and pets

We put a whole lot of love into everything we do. Raising these cheepers is no different. Whether they're destined for your dinner table or your laying flock, we all make sure the cheepers we raise are loved and cared for.

Are Big Birds

Our meat birds typically have a processed weight of 5-8 pounds. If you would prefer a smaller (or larger) bird, let us know and we will do our best to work with you!
